Planting projects
Trees That Count and the Department of Conservation have partnered to support planting projects to create a legacy celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 70th year on the throne.
The selected planting projects represent a diverse range of environmental and community benefits including:
- community-led restoration of catchments and public reserves
- iwi and hapū led projects, and
- restoration of farm waterways and biodiversity corridors.
The Plantinum Jubilee planting legacy will help improve water quality, soil conservation and support New Zealand’s climate change commitments.
