You can support the planting of 100,000 native trees across 15 outstanding native restoration projects in honour of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

Planting projects

Trees That Count and the Department of Conservation have partnered to support planting projects to create a legacy celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 70th year on the throne.

The selected planting projects represent a diverse range of environmental and community benefits including:

  • community-led restoration of catchments and public reserves
  • iwi and hapū led projects, and
  • restoration of farm waterways and biodiversity corridors.

The Plantinum Jubilee planting legacy will help improve water quality, soil conservation and support New Zealand’s climate change commitments.
