Project goals
The project aims to secure the future of the Alborn skink by:
- building a predator proof fence around its only known habitat in the Victoria Forest Park
- developing a new, low-cost method to manage the impacts of mice which will help the recovery of other vulnerable lizard species.
We need your help
DOC and the New Zealand Nature Fund (NZNF) are working together to help save the Alborn skink.
