Two lease applications by Moffatt, Brown, Tavendale and Fountaine
We have approved two lease applications by Moffatt, Brown, Tavendale and Fountaine for a duplex boatshed in Sounds Foreshore Reserve. Submissions closed 27 August 2026.

These applications are notified under section 17SC of the Conservation Act 1987. The Minister of Conservation has received two lease concession applications to occupy the Sounds Foreshore Reserve with a duplex boatshed, for term of 30 years.

Summary of proposal: Use of 50% of existing duplex boatshed (39.5 sqm) on the Sounds Foreshore (Local Purpose) Reserve.

Concession applied for: Leases to occupy the reserve for a term of 30 years.

Submissions closed on Thursday 27 August 2026 at 5 pm.

Decision

The two lease applications by Moffatt, Brown, Tavendale and Fountaine for a duplex boatshed in Sounds Foreshore Reserve were approved.
