Summary of Proposal: This is a new application for a replacement boatshed and associated services on the Sounds Foreshore Reserve, fronting private property owned by the applicant, for a period of 30 years. The existing boatshed is currently authorised under NM-30773-SFR and is proposed to be replaced by this concession.
The lease is for a new boatshed (25 m²), with 1–2 m wide decking around the south, north and seaward side of the structure, a retaining wall (7.9 m long and 2.6 m high), and a rock revetment (12 m long) replacing an old seawall. The application also includes the existing activities of an access track (1 m wide) and power and water supply between the boatshed and the house on private property.
