Summary of Proposal: To continue to operate a national weather service from this site to take effect once the current lease expires. The current lease was originally granted in 1992 under the State Owned-Enterprises Act 1986. The facilities include the head office building, carparks, a 5000L diesel tank for back-up power, an instrument enclosure site and a mast site.
