Intention to grant a concession to Owaka Golf Club
Have your say on the Minister of Conservation's intention to grant a 30 year concession to Owaka Golf Club. Submissions closed 27 November 2017.

The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a 30 year lease under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 for the operation of a nine hole golf club comprising of a pavilion and utility sheds (includes grazing of sheep) at Owaka Golf Course.

How to submit

Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal.

Hearings

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection, or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur on the week starting 11 December 2017.
