Intention to grant a concession to McGregor Concrete Limited
Have your say on the Minister of Conservation's intention to grant a a 30 year concession to McGregor Concrete Limited on part conservation area and marginal strips – Whitestone River. Submissions close 20 November 2017.

The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a 30 year lease/licence/easement under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to operate a concrete processing plant for gravel processing, storage, concrete production, and right of way access at Whitestone River – Te Anau.

How to submit

Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal.

Hearings

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection, or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur on the week starting 4 December 2017.
