Intention to grant a concession to Fire and Emergency New Zealand
Have your say on the intention to grant a concession to Fire and Emergency New Zealand to lease part of the Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve. Submissions close 20 November 2017.

The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a five year lease under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 59A of the Reserves Act 1977 to Fire and Emergency New Zealand to lease part of the Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve on which the Kaiteriteri Fire Station is located.

Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal or make written submissions on the proposal.

Note submitter’s information could be disclosed under the Official Information Act and submissions are part of the statutory process and may be commented on by the applicant.

Hearings

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur the week starting 4 December 2017.
