Become a member on the Game Animal Council

We are currently accepting nominations for positions on the Game Animal Council. The deadline for nominations is 24 February 2020 at 5 pm. 

Who can apply?

Anyone can apply. An interest in the sector is important and the key skills that are required of council members are outlined in the Game Animal Council Act 2013 section 8(3).

Nominate yourself or someone you know 

Written nominations may be made by any person or organisation.

  • Download the nomination form (Word, 130K)
  • Email or post your completed form to the relevant address on the form.
  • You will hear back regarding your nomination in late April 2020, with appointments taking effect from 1 June 2020.

Its work involves advising the Minister of Conservation, informing and educating the sector, and conducting game animal research.
