Vacancies on the Game Animal Council

The Minister of Conservation is seeking nominations to fill two vacancies on the Game Animal Council. Anyone can apply. Find out more about what is involved on the Game Animal Council website.

Appointments are made to ensure collective knowledge and experience relating to game animals, farming, forestry, kaitiakitanga, nature conservation, and scientific disciplines. Particular regard will be given to those with strong governance experience, financial literacy, and commercial acumen.

Appointments will take effect from 1 December 2021 and will be for a term of up to three years.
