New Zealand Conservation Authority nominations are open

The Minister for Conservation is seeking nominations for the New Zealand Conservation Authority in 2026.

We are seeking nominations from those with knowledge and experience relating to conservation, natural sciences, and recreation. Understanding of board functions and previous governance experience are an advantage.

How to apply

Any person can apply to be a member. Nominations close on 6 March 2026.

• Download the nomination form (Word, 127K) and return via email

Paper forms can be returned by post but email is preferred.
