Introduction

Arohatia Te Taiao is an environmental initiative led by the Northland Conservation Board.

Arohatia te Taiao is an independent initiative, sponsored by Te Rūnanga Papa Atawhai O Te Tai Tokerau (Northland Conservation Board), supported by the Department of Conservation and led by a small project steering group. 

Key aims

  1. To identify key priorities and offer solutions, while articulating Northlander’s aspirations for our ‘home’ – our natural world. 
  2. That the information collected provides a strong foundation and community voice for Te Tai Tokerau planning, strategy and action.
