Plant conservation strategy – Wellington Conservancy (PDF, 653K)

Summary

The goal of plant conservation in Wellington Conservancy is to ensure that the
region’s indigenous plants and a representative suite of the region’s indigenous plant communities, continue to exist in the wild as part of functioning ecosystems.

This strategy outlines how this goal will be achieved for sites other than the Chatham Islands through implementation of three key work areas: in-situ management, exsiting management and conservancy-wide initiatives.
