Summary

The report summarises the translocation of 31 bellbirds and 37 whitehead by Friends of Mana Island and the Department of Conservation, to re-establish populations Mana Island, off the west coast of the lower North Island of New Zealand.

It describes the capture, transfer, and release methods, and  recommends  future work.
