Fiordland Lobster is the largest New Zealand exporter of live Fiordland rock lobster and supports many conservation related projects.

The Fiordland Lobster Company has supported several species translocations in Fiordland. 

    • Mohua and South Island robin from Anchor and Breaksea Islands to Pigeon Island, Tamatea/Dusky Sound in 2006.


    • North Island kōkako from three sites (Mapara, Kaharoa, Rotoehu) in the North Island to Secretary Island, Doubtful Sound in 2008/2009.


  • Little spotted kiwi from Kapiti Island to Anchor Island/Pukenui in 2015-17, with the third and final transfer of the kiwi expected in June 2017. 
  • Pāteke, from captive rearing sites around the country, to Resolution Island, Tamatea/Dusky Sound in May 2017.
