A variety of day walks and short walks in Karamea makes it an ideal place for walkers of all ages and capabilities to explore. the walks are well signposted and graded, with bridges across most streams and rivers.

Weather and track conditions are very changeable so it is advisable to check with the nearest Department of Conservation office or visitor information centres to check current track conditions.
