Arthur's Pass National Park tramping

Published:

2006

This brochure will help you to choose a tramp in Arthur's Pass National Park that is within your level of experience and ability. It will also help you plan the trip ahead.

Summary

Arthur's Pass National Park is rugged, mountainous and not as developed as most other national parks in New Zealand. It is not suited to people with little or no tramping experience as most trips require route-finding and river-crossing skills.

This brochure contains important safety information. It should be read alongside the Arthur's Pass National Park route guide series.
