The online version of the brochures are best viewed at "100%". They offer descriptions of the walks, key features and hazards. The maps included in these brochures are schematic only and you should always consult a detailed topographic map when planning a trip in the outdoors. If you wish to print these, an A3 size is recommended.
This brochure introduces the history, geology and vegetation of Te Aroha and Waiorongomai and a number of walks you can enjoy in the area. Walking times and distances are supplied and a map shows the location of each walk.
If you would like to purchase hard copies of either of these brochures they are available from the Tauranga DOC office, and most Bay of Plenty i-Sites.
