Summary

Glenorchy, at the head of Lake Wakatipu, is 48 kilometres from Queenstown. In the mountain valleys beyond the township are some of New Zealand's best known, multi-day tracks. There are also great day walks on these tracks, with many shorter walks nearby.

The walks include:
