The report is intended as a monitoring tool for the distribution of these weeds and as an awareness-raising tool for landowners and visitors to Kapiti Island, located off the west coast of the southern North Island.
It includes descriptions and photos of the weeds, their flowering times, their impact on ecosystems, how they are spread, and a map of their current distribution on Kapiti Island and the nearby off-shore islands - Motungarara, Tahoramaurea and Tokomapuna.
