Summary

The Department of Conservation (DOC), Moehau Environment Group (MEG) and iwi are proposing to release North Island robin, toutouwai, Petroica australis longipes on Moehau in the northern Coromandel Peninsula during 2009. Find out about the background to this project including information about predator control and the history of the area itself.
