This report documents progress during the first three years of Operation Ark, an initiative which uses intensive pest control at specific sites to protect vulnerable populations of four endangered species - pekapeka (short-tailed and long-tailed bats), mohua (yellowhead), whio (blue duck) and karariki karaka (orange-fronted parakeets).
