Summary

This report is a summary of the findings relating to noise and aircraft activity from the second season of monitoring carried out during the 2007/08 summer. The surveys were undertaken to assess the effects of aircraft activity on visitors to Fiordland National Park on recreational users.

As well as being of interest to the public and other stakeholders, the information provided is intended to assist aircraft operators to mitigate the effects of their activity by indentifying areas on the flight path where impacts from aircraft have reached unacceptable levels.
