The all-encompassing panorama from this 1,578-metre summit includes most of Lake Wanaka, the surrounding peaks and Mount Aspiring/Tititea. After crossing through paddocks, the well-graded track continues through alpine tussock to the ridge.

This track crosses private land. Please respect the landowner’s property and livestock – no dogs or bikes.

The track is closed for lambing from the 1 October - 10 November inclusive.
