Description
A few minutes walk from the carpark and picnic area takes you to the lookout to view the spectacular falls. Just above the bridge the Hangaroa and Ruakituri Rivers combine to form the Wairoa River.
Getting there
Located 35 km inland from Wairoa, just off SH 36 (Tiniroto Road). Turn onto Ruakituri Road at Te Reinga, cross the bridge over the river. The carpark is at the western end of the bridge.
