A short, steep track from the summit of Kennedy Bay Road leads to the lookout and captivating views of the Coromandel landscape. The site was used for marine surveillance during World War II. Site of the John H (Pop) Lucas memorial. Please keep to the track to avoid dangerous mine shafts in the area.
