Serviced huts

There are five serviced huts on the walkway: Cannibal Gorge, Ada Pass, Christopher, Anne and Boyle Flat huts. Overnight use is $15 per adult per night. Hut tickets should be bought from DOC offices before starting the track.

The serviced huts on the walkway contain:

  • bunks with mattresses for 14 - 20 people (depending on the hut)
  • wood stoves, firewood, drying racks
  • intentions book and walkway map.

In addition trampers can also stay in Magdalen and Rokeby huts.

Please sign the intentions books. These give information about the number of people using the walkway and hut accommodation, and serve as a safety precaution.

Note: During the summer it is recommended that you carry a tent as accommodation within the huts is limited and available on a first come basis.
