Take a 3-hour return walk along the Okura Bush Walkway. The walkway winds its way through the Okura River Estuary and through coastal forest to Karepiro Bay and historic Dacre Cottage. Stony Batter Historic Reserve at the eastern end of Waiheke Island is renowned for its remarkable rock outcrops and extensive tunnels and gun sites dating back to World War II. Category: Tramping track
The cliff top walk from Bethells Beach (Te Henga) to south of Muriwai Beach (or reverse) reveals stunning views of Auckland's wild west coast. Category: Walking track Alert: A number of slips along the track. Track very narrow on these sections. Take extreme caution negotiating these sections.
