Attractions and facilities in the area include:
  • Picnic areas. These include both open and secluded spots along Catchpool Road. Food must be cooked on the free gas barbeques provided, or with liquid or gas operated stoves. Portable generators are excluded from the park. 
  • Campground with toilets, showers and gas barbecues. Camping is permitted only in the campground.
  • Bookable huts. Book online or through the DOC Wellington Visitor Centre.
  • Walks for all ages and fitness levels.
