Karikari Peninsula is renowned for its amazing white sandy beaches and bays including historical Puwheke Beach, Karikari Beach and picturesque Waikato Bay.

The peninsula's main attraction is Maitai Bay made up of two coves looking out towards the Pacific Ocean. It is a popular site with fishermen and holidaymakers for its scenic views and sheltered swimming bays.

Location

Situated to the west of Doubtless Bay, Karikari Peninsula is a long narrow piece of land, lined with idyllic beaches and bays, which reach out into the Pacific Ocean.
