Activities in Te Kahui Kaupeka Conservation Park

The park caters for a wide range of recreational activities including tramping, fishing, skiing (two ski areas in the park), ski touring, mountaineering, hunting, and mountain biking.

Hunting

Thar provide the main hunting opportunity. Red and fallow deer, chamois and pigs are present. All hunters must have a hunting permit obtainable from any DOC office.

Te Araroa Trail

This park includes part of Te Araroa - a walking trail from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Visit the Te Araroa website.
