Getting there

Off SH 2 onto Norfolk Rd, 2 km south of Masterton. This is signposted and there is a timber processing plant on the corner. The lodge is at the road end, 15 km from the turnoff. 

Features

Situated on a large grassy area surrounded by native forest. This simple lodge is ideal for families and groups and is often used for the first night of a tramp into the park. Large groups can take advantage of the extensive camping area around the lodge. There are a number of short walks and good fishing in the Atiwhakatu River year round and swimming in the summer.

Adult: $15.00
Youth / child: $5.00

Bookings

You can book via the online booking system or by contacting the Wairarapa Area Office.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the original occupancy date and within 48 hours of making the booking, otherwise a cancellation fee applies.

Transfers are not able to be made less than or equal to 2 days before the first night of stay.
