The ferry may be fully booked
As both the bunkhouse and ferry service (contact 360 Discovery on 0800 360 3472 or www.360discovery.co.nz) can get booked out in advance for long periods, it is best to check both are available for your chosen dates before going ahead and finalising both bookings.
The ferry service does not operate on Mondays and Tuesdays
There are no ferry services on Mondays and Tuesdays. The ferry does operate on public holidays (excluding Christmas Day) and every day over the period from 26 December to the third Sunday in January. Please be aware of this if you are making a booking on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday night.
Biosecurity
Incorrectly packaged gear is a biosecurity risk and will not be allowed onto the island. Please refer to information about biosecurity in the Tiritiri Matangi bunkhouse brochure.
