Waiohine Gorge campsite
The secluded campsite is at the head of 2 spectacular gorges above the Waiohine River. It’s a popular area for rafting, canoeing and outdoor education. A 92 m suspension bridge takes you to tracks up the valley.
Notes
- Gravel access with a stream ford required
- Visitors must contact DOC before using the abseiling site
- Dogs permitted. Must be on a least at all times
