Once a large gold mining settlement with houses, shops and schools, this is now a remote but comfortable campsite. Walk from the campsite to the Wentworth Falls, Wentworth mines and a waterhole for swimming. Golf course and restaurants in nearby Whangamata.

  • Access: 5 km gravel, small stream ford
  • Dogs (but no other domestic animals) are permitted with prior approval from camp manager, ph:+64 7 865 7032.
