Stunning bay at Otamure campsite
Go past Hikurangi on SH1. Turn off SH1 at Whananaki North Road. Travel 27 km. Campsite 2km past village on Rockell Road.

You find a lovely walk in the nearby Motutara Recreation Reserve. Out on the headland there are several small, secluded beaches and some good fishing and diving spots. Please leave gates as you find them.
