Camp beside the Cobb River which offers good swimming and fishing.
Notes
- Access: Unsealed, steep and windy. One way in some sections. Icy and 4WD only in winter.
- Road not suitable for motor-homes or caravans.
- Campfires permitted. Be aware of fire bans and higher fire risk during summer months. Contact the local DOC office or Council for details. Follow the on-site signs.
Getting there

Cobb Valley
Turn off SH 60 at Upper Takaka and follow the Cobb Dam Rd for 35km. The campsite is at the top end of the Cobb Reservoir.
