Fees

1 December to 28 February and Easter and Labour Weekends: $7.00 adult/night, $3.50 child/night (5-17 years). Other times: $6.00 adult/night, $1.50 child/night (5-17 years). Under 5 free at all times. NZMCA pass is not valid 23 December to 1 February.

This scenic camp is a good base for boating, fishing, swimming and kayaking and is the gateway to D'Urville Island. Watch the waters moving through French Pass from the nearby viewpoint.

Location

The small settlement of French Pass, at the north-west extremity of the Marlborough Sounds.

Turn off SH6 north of Rai Valley into Croisilles-French Pass Rd. Follow to the end, approx 45 km.

Access: Sealed and gravel, narrow winding road, or boat access.
