Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park

Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park has a number of historic mining and kauri logging sites within its boundaries. The park also features several popular tramping tracks.

Beside the Waitawheta River. Walking tracks lead to the Historic Karangahake Gorge and pass some great fishing spots in the Waitawheta River.

  • Dogs permitted. Must be on a leash at all times.
  • Fires are not permitted.
