Inside Haurangi Hut

Three hour walk via Orongorongo and Big Bend Tracks.

An alternative to Big Bend Track is to walk up the river bed but there are multiple river crossings. Do not use the river route when the river is in flood or when there has been sustained rainfall in the area. Use the Big Bend Track instead.
