Winding its way over Mt Tongariro and around Mt Ngauruhoe is the Tongariro Northern Circuit, one of the Great Walks of New Zealand.
High on the slopes of Mt Tongariro, Ketetahi Hut is part of the Northern Circuit Great Walk. The Ketetahi Track is also a section of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

$25 peak, $15 off-peak. Child/youth are free (peak and off peak).

Ketetahi Hut
Great Walk hut in peak season. Gas cooking facilities are provided during this season. Great Walk hut pass required. Off-peak it is a Serviced category hut, with no cookers provided.
