Kauritatahi Hut had a makeover in 2010

Getting there
The Kauritataihi Hut is in the central part of the Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park, about 1.5 hours south from the junction of Thompsons Track and the North South Track. A marked and signposted track leaves the North South track and leads to the hut.
