Please note, except for the Kaueranga Visitor Centre, the following DOC offices do not have Eftpos or credit card facilities. Tickets can be purchased with cash or cheque.

To stay in a backcountry hut on conservation land you will need to purchase hut tickets. They can be purchased at DOC offices or the following retail outlets:

Please note: These retail outlets only sell hut tickets. Backcountry hut passes (and tickets) can be purchased from the DOC Waikato Conservancy Office, DOC Maniapoto Area Office, DOC Pureora Field Centre, DOC Kauaeranga Visitor Centre and DOC Coromandel Field Centre.
