Backcountry hut passes and tickets can't be used at this hut.

Pay fees at the Mount Aspiring National Park Visitor Centre or online on the New Zealand Alpine Club website.

Know before you go

Full huts during peak season

This hut, along with other huts in the region, is popular with trampers from December until after Easter. We recommended you carry a tent or roll mat when tramping during this period.

No Firewood available May-Labour weekend

There is no firewood supplied at this hut during the off-peak season.
