About this campsite

This campsite is open through winter. It offers two different camping levels. On the lower level you can camp right on the river's edge. Maximum number of people - 100.

This is one of nine campsites beside the Kauaeranga River.

Getting there

Follow the Kauaeranga Valley Road from Thames for 14 km to the Visitor Centre. Totara Flat is 7.5 km north of the Visitor Centre. Second campground on right past Visitor Centre.
