The Hawke's Bay region encompasses the Kaweka Forest Park, Boundary Stream Mainland Island, Eastern Ruahine Forest Park, a number of Reserves and Cape Kidnappers.
Most of the hunting can be found in the Kaweka and Ruahine Forest Parks.
Sika deer and red deer can be hunted in Kaweka Forest Park.
