This section has some basic information about the different hunting opportunities in the Gisborne Raukumara region.
You must have a current hunting permit to hunt in these blocks. A dog permit is also required to hunt with dogs.
Deer, Pigs, Feral cattle and Goats are present in Raukumara Forest Park.
Deer and pigs are present in the Matawai Conservation Area.
