This is a basic three bunk hut in the St James Conservation Area.Facilities

The track to Jervois Hut is closed for motorised vehicles during winter. Gate codes change every month between October and May.

If you're using a 4WD:
- Follow the formed 4WD track past Scotties Hut.
- Cross the Edwards river just down from the Edwards swingbridge
- Carry on up over Charlies Saddle until the "no vehicles beyond this point".
- From here you must walk to Jervois Hut. This will take around 2.5 hours. There's no marked route so you'll need to navigate your way to it.
High lift 4WDs recommended only.
Gate codes change every month between October and May. The track is closed during winter.
