This map shows the geographic spread of the areas protected by the Nature Heritage Fund on private land through purchases and covenants throughout New Zealand and the Chatham Islands since 1990.

The points are indicative only and do not relate to the size of the individual areas protected.

310 Open Space covenants that were funded by the Nature Heritage Fund are not included on this map. Further information is available from the Queen Elizabeth the Second National Trust.
