Neil Hamilton

Neil has a strong interest in conservation which has been channelled, in the last few years, into establishing around 2000 native plants and trees on his 20-acre North Canterbury lifestyle block.

Neil's recreation interests include mountaineering, back country skiing, tramping, scuba-diving, sea kayaking and white water kayaking.

Neil is a director of Thinking Cap Partners, a Canterbury-based management consultancy who assist a variety of New Zealand enterprises to develop their strategies and implement significant change programmes. Neil has held a range of governance and management positions in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Term

Neil is in his first term on the board, which expires in 2013.

Neil is a member of the Planning Committee and the Resource Consents Committee.
