Mandy Waaka-Home

Mandy Waaka-Home has been the Arowhenua/Ngāi Tahu board member for the past 9 years.
Mandy works for NIWA as the Māori development advisor for the Christchurch team.
She is also the secretary for Arowhenua Runaka and their Society Inc. She brings to the board Kati Huirapa values and work ethics. She takes a hands-on approach to conservation management and has worked in the field on a number of projects in different areas of public conservation lands managed by DOC.
Mandy also serves on the Native Fish Committee and the Roopu Tiaki Committee for Arowhenua Marae.
Term
Mandy is serving her fourth term on the board, which expires in 2013.
